PROLINE PercuTrach® tracheostomy tubes with atraumatic inserters and the extralong PROLINE XT PercuTrach® tubes have been specifically developed for use during dilatational tracheostomy. They are made of tissue-friendly polyurethane. Due to the excellent ratio between the inner and outer diameters they allow for maximum air flow. The atraumatic inserter is perfectly matched to the ProLine/ ProLine XT outer cannula and can be securely locked in via its bayonet connection. It has a practical handle which incorporates elevations that prevent slipping. All versions feature an advanced microthin cylindrical polyurethane cuff which adapts ideally to the trachea. Secretion that accumulates above the cuff, can be removed through an integrated subglottic suction line, featured on our SUCTION models. This suction line is embedded perfectly into the outer cannula to avoid pressure necrosis.
