DescriptionThe UKCA-marked lead eyeshield is designed for patient-specific use during kilovoltage X-ray superficial radiotherapy. The shield is an accurately formed spherical low-porosity lead device with internal and external coatings to minimise corneal irritation. It is intended to be positioned under the eyelid to protect the lens while allowing irradiation of the full thickness and width of the eyelids.
