Description

The Ortho Verseia® Integrated Processor (VIP) is an automated pipetting and processing system. Ortho VIP is comprised of an Ortho Verseia® pipetter and Ortho Summit processor joined together to increase pipetting and processing efficiency. The Ortho VIP should be used with licensed QuidelOrtho blood screening tests for in vitro diagnostics. Enabling efficiency with end-to-end processing The Ortho Verseia pipetter aspirates and dispenses samples and reagents into microplates, and a robotic arm (known as the iSWAP) transfers the plate to the Ortho® Summit Processor (OSP) for processing. The OSP contains modules for incubating, washing, dispensing subsequent reagents and photometric reading of microplates. The OSP sends the raw data back to the Ortho Assay software (OAS) server for sample analysis and final result interpretation.
