Rotary cutting module

RCA Bignami is specialized in the production of cutting modules, rotary dies, embossing and sealing cylinders. The cutting modules, which can be supplied with or without motorization, are an essential part of RCA know-how and they are used in different converting applications such as Medical and Pharmaceutical, Hygienic Disposal Products, Tobacco Industry, Coffee Industry, Paper Industry, Flexible Films, Labels, etc... Thanks to a 25 years long experience and know-how, RCA has developed a special cutting module equipped with three cylinders (two dies - one anvil or one die – two anvils) that has helped to increase the flexibility and the efficiency of the cutting system and, because of its innovative concept, has been patented. Furthermore, the know-how of RCA is not limited to the cutting process but also to the perforation of different materials and the subsequent evacuation of the cut parts at high web speed. The rotary dies are manufactured using state of the art equipment such as 5-Axis CNC machines and the cutting profile is studied and carried out taking into consideration the variable geometries of the cut and the physical characteristics of the materiai to be cut. Complete motorized systems with web feeding, product cutting and depositing are also offered.
