Discovery has been proven to be open to different seating systems: the entire back can be adjusted to the seating shells; the angle of the back rest can be changed with a ratchet mechanism. Various interface adapters and footrest designs round off this flexible concept. Features: Seat Tilt from 0° to 35° operated by a gas compression spring. Individual push handles. Back inclination adjustable from 90° to 120°. Knee lever wheel lock. Transport mounting loop. The Discovery is a stable and adaptive wheelbase. Even under a hight weight bearing load, you can easily handle the Discovery due to where the rotation point of the seat tilt has been placed. For this reason, the seating system can be easily tilted by using the gas compression springs. Benefits: NARROW FRAME: Low overall width because of the selection of smaller rear wheels (compared to the conventional 24" wheels). The seat unit can be set up above the mobility base. PRESSURE RELIEF: Relieving position with seat tilt up to 350° (by gas compression spring) with back inclination up to 120°.
