Description

RWD VentStar II Small Animal Ventilator supports 10g-1kg animals for procedures including myocardial ischemia modeling and thoracotomy. With endotracheal tube, it provides continuous respiratory support to maintain lung ventilation for surgical and cardiopulmonary pharmacology studies. Its cylinder-piston driven IPPV system offers adjustable tidal volume, respiratory rate, and I:E ratio, with combined PIP/PEEP/sigh/inspiratory hold/expiratory hold settings, plus airway pressure monitoring and PIP protection. Convenient Use For laboratory animals weighing 10–500g, the device intelligently recommends ventilation parameters based on entered body weight. It stores up to 10 sets of ventilation parameters for one-touch recall and rapid operation. The 7-inch color touchscreen provides clear display and intuitive operation. The interface supports Chinese/English one-click switching, with key information highlighted for easy monitoring. In both VC and PC modes, the system displays real-time pressure-time curves and peak inspiratory pressure (PIP) to facilitate assessment of animal status. PC mode features “VT maintenance” for simplified operation by novice users. Precise control, stable maintenance By adopting low-flow principles and an advanced electromagnetic valve, the device achieves a simple structure with high accuracy. The precision cylinder mechanism stably maintains preset parameters to ensure smooth experimental progress. Tidal volume range: 0.050–5.000 ml (0.001 ml increments). Peak inspiratory pressure (PIP) range: 1–50 cmH₂O (1 cmH₂O increments).
