Description

Orione knee immobilizer in laminated fabric with sponge lining. INDICATIONS: To immobilise the limb after sprains or kneecap fractures. Postoperative immobilization In emergency situations. CHARACTERISTICS: Structure in comfortable laminated fabric with internal terry lining. Two removable and mouldable aluminium splints on the side and two in the rear. Available height: 40 cm (Art 5240) - 50 cm (Art 5250) - 60 cm (Art 5260) WARNINGS: For proper use, please contact medical staff and/or a specialist for choosing the correct model, size, method and time of use. Beware the medical device is not sterile. Do not place in contact with damaged skin. Do not use creams or ointments in direct contact with the device. Do not change the structure of the device to maintain its functioning. The materials used for the construction of the device exclude, in most known cases, the occurrence of side effects. In case of any side effects, stop using the device and consult your personal physician. WEAR: The first fitting must be made by a doctor and / or specialist technical. 1.Open and remove all straps provisionally closing them on themselves. 2.Adjust the two side panels so that the splints are centred on the midline of the leg. 3.Apply the immobilizer centring the hole on the patella. 4.Close the straps alternately thigh / calf from top to bottom and close the centre ones last. For later applications: 1.Open and remove all straps closing them on themselves. 2.Apply the immobilizer centring the hole on the patella. 3.Close the straps alternately thigh / calf starting with those closest to the kneecap. CARE: Remove all the splints
