Description

Simulator is a model of a head with an esophagus, stomach and duodenum that is mounted on a stable base with a container fixing system. The anatomically correct oral cavity and the inner shell of the organs are reproduced. The folding of the structures is highlighted. The material of the simulator in its physical properties is close to the real values. The simulator is designed to practice the skills of endoscopic examination of the walls of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum. Functional features : transoral and transnasal endoscope insertion; the color of the simulated mucosa is close to the real one; the curved nasal septum makes it difficult for the endoscope to be inserted transnasally; stomach and duodenal ulcers, early stages of stomach cancer are reproduced; possible installation of polyps; the head part of the simulator can be opened along the sagittal line in order to demonstrate the anatomical structures of the mouth, nose and larynx; the container allows you to cover the esophagus and stomach. The simulator allows you to perform: zophagogastroduodenoscopy; examination of the Fatter’s papilla. The simulator is designed for use in medical educational institutions.
