Product description
Ready-to-use wash mitts impregnated with octenidine-based solution for bedside whole-body cleaning and skin care of intact skin. Suitable for use in intensive care, high-dependency units and for situations involving MDRO.

Fields of application

Instructions for use
If required, warm the sealed softpack in a microwave (30 seconds / 600 W) or pre-cool for a refreshing wash. Open the softpack carefully and remove one octenisan® wash mitt as needed. Clean the skin and allow the impregnation solution to act for at least 30 seconds.
Ensure complete wetting of the skin, especially in axillae, interdigital spaces and other skin folds. Rinsing with water afterwards is not necessary.
For regular hair washing use a wash cap; if patients prefer the sensation of conventional hair washing, use a wash lotion. For prolonged daily use, perform a regular wash with wash lotion and water (for example weekly).

Special advice
Do not apply if allergy to any ingredient is known or suspected. Do not use in combination with products containing PVP-iodine. Not suitable for children under 3 years.
