Description

Short description
rotasept® is a ready-to-use cleaning and disinfection solution developed for burs and other rotating precision instruments.

Benefits
  • excellent material compatibility
  • corrosion-preventing effect
  • effective against bacteria (including Mycobacterium tuberculosis) and viruses (including HBV, HCV, HIV and enveloped viruses) within 15 minutes
  • shorter action time when used in an ultrasonic bath (approx. 5 minutes)
  • ready to use, no dilution required

Fields of application
For manual cleaning and final disinfection of burs, cutters, diamond grinders and other rotating precision instruments. Due to its broad efficacy and high material compatibility, rotasept® is suitable for reprocessing rotating precision instruments as well as steel and stainless-steel instruments.

Instructions for use
For professional use only. Use rotasept® undiluted in the bur bath. Place each small rotating instrument in the solution immediately after use to avoid drying of soil. Rinse all instruments thoroughly after reprocessing with water of at least drinking-water quality, preferably sterile distilled or fully deionised water, to remove residues completely. Immersion time for final disinfection: 15 minutes. Avoid longer contact times to preserve best material compatibility. Replace working solutions daily and whenever contamination is clearly visible. National regulations may require cleaning and final disinfection to be performed as separate process steps. Do not mix with other cleaning agents or disinfectants. Follow instrument manufacturers' reprocessing recommendations.

Material compatibility / Warnings
Do not immerse alkali- and alcohol-sensitive plastics, aluminium parts or instruments bonded with synthetic resin adhesives in rotasept®. For such instruments, use a recommended alternative (e.g. gigasept® instru AF). rotasept® is suitable for use in an ultrasonic bath.
