The sample collection system consists of several plastic parts, a connection hose, and two stainless steel cannulas. Two plastic components serve as the cannula hubs with the cannulas glued inside. There is a vial cannula and a plasma cannula. The vial cannula has a standard bevel. Connected via the hose, the plasma cannula has a pencil point design to prevent punching out membrane particles. The plasma adaptor on the hub serves as a handle. Both cannula come with protective caps to prevent damage or injury.
