Oregon Plugger 4 is a double-ended (2.0 mm – 3.0 mm) dental instrument which is used to pack amalgam or other filling materials into cavity preparations. Pluggers/condensers are also available in a wide range of combinations with plain or serrated tips and the terminal shanks are angled at 50° to the center line of the instrument.
