The Nexis GC-2060 is Shimadzu's flagship gas chromatograph platform designed for routine and advanced analyses. It integrates high-performance detectors, flexible configuration and automation features to streamline laboratory workflows, improve uptime and support long-term operational efficiency.

Multi-Mode Injection Unit (MMI)
The MMI supports split/splitless, programmable temperature vaporization (PTV), direct injection, large-volume injection (LVI), thermal desorption and extraction modes, providing flexibility for challenging matrices and method transfer.

Detectors with high sensitivity and stability
Next-generation FID and TCD designs deliver leading sensitivity and long-term stability. The system accepts FID and TCD as standard, with optional ECD, FPD, FTD, BID and other detectors to cover diverse analyses.

Scalable configuration
Supports up to two injectors, three injection units and four detectors simultaneously, allowing one instrument to serve multiple methods while conserving bench space.

Immediate performance and compatibility
High compatibility with existing methods and consumables enables rapid integration into current workflows with minimal revalidation effort.

Advanced detector modes
The redesigned FID achieves a minimum detectable level of ~1.0 pg C/s and is the first multi-mode FID (MMF) capable of Hy/Ox and Hy/Air modes, with optional Jetanizer and Polyarc modes to support universal response strategies.

Next-Gen TCD
The redesigned TCD uses single-filament technology for faster start-up, improved sensitivity, excellent linearity and quick stabilization for gas and inorganic analyses.

Smart resource management (Eco Idling)
Automatic Eco-Operation adapts to analytical patterns and switches the system to an energy-saving Eco Idling mode during standby, displaying estimated gas, power, CO2 and cost savings. Features include automatic transitions between analysis and Eco Idling and options for unattended startup/shutdown sequences.
