i-liner is the aligner system for completely aesthetic orthodontics.
i-liner is perfectly transparent and comfortable, while the workflow is organized on an intuitive and simple web platform.
Technology
The Research and Development activities of SIA Orthodontic Manufacturer have invested considerable time and resources to develop the most suitable material for i-liner, in order to ensure long-lasting resistance, elasticity, and comfort.
Our aligners are made with Flexy, a thermoformable material of high transparency and resistant to discoloration. Tests conducted by independent laboratories have demonstrated a continuous and constant release of forces over time for highly predictable movements.
Production
The creation of a precise product is essential for an optimal result.
The quality of the aligner also depends on the quality of the model printing.
3D printing carried out in our departments uses high-precision industrial printers with a post-polymerization process in dedicated ovens and ultrasonic washing to remove any unpolymerized resin residues that could compromise the precision of the aligner's thermoforming.
The definition of the cutting line is done via CAD/CAM software that communicates directly with a numerically controlled milling system (CNC), allowing constant repeatability of the aligner cut, thus ensuring high precision essential for greater predictability of clinical results.
Each aligner is made according to the characteristics of the clinical case and, to ensure greater comfort for the patient, is individually checked and finished through an industrial tumbling process to eliminate all roughness and cutting burrs.
Each aligner has a laser marking for identification of the positioning arch and the progressive number of the aligner.
