Description

Product overview
The Sigma 3-17KT is a refrigerated benchtop centrifuge that combines a compact footprint with precise, fast cooling. Temperature control ranges from -20 °C to +40 °C and the Rapid Temp quick-cool function allows pre-cooling of the chamber and accessories to a defined temperature.

Capacity and rotor performance
  • Swing-out rotor: max. volume 1,600 ml (4 × 400 ml); max. speed 4,500 rpm; max. RCF 3,894 × g.
  • Fixed-angle rotor: example capacity 564 ml; max. speed 16,400 rpm; max. RCF 25,559 × g.

Examples of available rotors (selection)
  • Swing-out rotor 11180 + Bucket 13190 — 4 × 400 ml — 4,500 rpm — 3,894 × g.
  • Swing-out rotor 110360 + Bucket 130360 — 2 × 60 mm — 4,100 rpm — 2,387 × g.
  • Swing-out rotor 11241 + Bucket 13241 — 2 × 66 mm — 4,500 rpm — 3,011 × g.
  • Fixed-angle rotor 120154 — 24 × 2 ml — 16,400 rpm — 25,559 × g.
