Overview
To complete your simulation kit or go further in understanding aging and disability, we offer additional and complementary accessories designed to simulate common age-related limitations and disabilities. These accessories are intended to be used with the SiViHa aging and disability simulation kits to provide realistic, practical training experiences.

Recommended accessories

• Overshoes — simulate hesitant, uncertain or unsteady gait; also used to simulate hemiparesis and back/lumbar problems.
• Reinforced knee pads — reduce knee mobility to simulate aggravated joint problems and severely restricted knee mobility.
• Cervical collar — provided with protective cover and disposable replacement covers; used to simulate neck restrictions and support some disability simulations (hemiparesis, back pain simulations).
• Suitcase / transport case — heavy-duty case designed to store and transport multiple heavy items from the simulation kits.

Overshoes
The overshoes are an essential accessory for the simulation of aging and hemiparesis following a stroke. They reduce traction and make balance more difficult to simulate slippery surfaces or uneven structures and create a sense of insecurity and instability when walking.

Reinforced knee pads
Reinforced knee pads reduce knee mobility so that aggravated joint problems can be simulated. They allow simulation of severely restricted knee mobility that may develop due to pathological or sporting stress and can be combined with age simulation and other disability simulations.

The cervical collar
An additional cervical collar is offered with a protective cover and disposable replacement covers. It can be used to simulate age-related neck restriction and is especially relevant for hemiparesis and back pain simulations.

The suitcase (transport case)
Recommended to facilitate transport of the equipment, especially because many components of the aging simulator kit are heavy. The case is specifically designed to store and carry the simulator elements and accessories.
