All of the suctions in this product group feature the Fukushima style teardrop shaped control hole in the handle and some incorporate the tapered tip to help reduce the chance of blockages. This allows for even finer suction control than the standard round control hole. Available as a micro suction and then with standard sizes from 6 to 12fg in lengths of 7-13cm to ensure that surgical teams have a wide range of options. OVERVIEW There are 9 suctions in this product group ranging from 18g (~4fg) to 12fg with working lengths from 7-13cm. The teardrop shape of the control hole is intended to give the user finer control over the strength of the suction by releasing the hole completely for the lowest level and then moving the finger to partly or completely cover the hole to increase the suction. Two of our Fukushima style suctions also incorporate the tapered tip which widens to the base of the handle and this is designed to reduce the chance of solid debris blocking the tube. The tapered tip is available on the 6fg suctions in working lengths of 9cm (S190) and 13cm (S193). The tubing on these models is relatively malleable which allows the user to alter the angle of the bend by up to 50˚ to make it easier to reach difficult operating sites.
