ARDS for Better Ventilating * Ventilation Skill Refresher for Professionals * More Specialist Situation Activities with Feedback * Upskill to Create Flexibility to Respond to COVID-19 * From Airway Basics to Advanced Skills More Detailed Realism * Both Physical Feel and On-Screen Feedback * Natural Chest Resistance for BVM * Positive-Negative Pressure in Thorax * Transition from BVM to Intubation * Switch to Higher Frequency Lower Volume Upskill Your Team and Increase Hospital Flexibility to Respond. This is a new simulator with new capabilities. It specifically focuses on developing Proficiency at Ventilating whether this is through a BVM or a tube.. for this new virus. It improve training where a patient with COVID-19 has difficulty breathing and is unable to breathe on their own. It is suitable for improving ventilation skills in other respiratory situations. THE RSIM ARDS DIFFERENCE. Unlike other manikins where you practice ventilating, RSIM ARDS has a new internal structure with more sensors to closer resemble a real person. This manikin creates pressure in the airway and you can physically feel the air as it moves out and there is resistance as you provide positive pressure. It also teaches practitioners to transition from providing normal volume ventilation to more frequent lower volume ventilations. You receive physical feel as well as digital feedback on volumes, flow rates, and timing. Further more it provides practice with real time feedback in transitioning from providing ventilation via a BVM to Intubating to Ventilation on the intubated patient. It also provides training for moving to intubated CPR should a cardiac arrest ensue.
