The Sol-M Blunt Fill Needle with Filter is designed to reduce the risk of needlestick injuries to healthcare workers when preparing medication by removing the need for sharps. The 5-micorn filter is designed to restrain drawing of shattered particles when using ampoules. For use when drawing medication and can also be used for addig medication in needless IV systems. Features: • Eliminates the unnecessary use of sharps • Color-coded hubs for easy identification • Needle hub is compatible with all Luer Lock and Luer Slip Tip syringes • 5-micron filter is included to prevent the drawing of glass particles when using ampules • Not manufactured with Latex, PVC and DEHP Intended use: Sol-M™ Blunt Fill Needle is used in conjunction with a syringe as an additive device for aspiration from multi-dose medicine vials or injection into I.V. Systems and pre-slit septum covering injection sites. Intended user: Licensed healthcare professionals (HCP). Cautions: • Re-use or use if the package is damaged may lead to infection or other illness/ injury. • Sharp object. Risk of sharp injuries.
