The new compact spectrometer SC82-S13496 utilizes high sensitivity CMOS linear image sensors S13496 and S11639. Highly sensitive (photosensitivity up to 650 V/lx*s), the S13496 image sensor allows using the SC82 spectrometer for low light applications such as Raman scattering, fluorescence, multi-channel spectrophotometry etc. The embedded IMAGING capability features an astigmatism compensator thus further enhancing system sensitivity.
