Description

Overview
Spellman’s Injector Control Assembly (ICA) multi-output high voltage power supplies provide the electrode voltages for a triode electron gun to inject electrons into a Linear Accelerator (LINAC). The resulting high-energy electron pulses generate high-energy X-Rays used for applications such as cargo screening and cancer therapy. This rack-mount multi-output supply provides Cathode, Heater and Grid voltages; the Cathode current can be pulsed up to 500 Hz. Heater and Grid supplies float at the Cathode voltage potential, typically up to -15 kV. Remote control and monitoring are available via standard Ethernet protocols. Front-panel LED indicators provide basic output and fault status, including Cathode Current and Arc faults.

Key Features
  • Multi-output electron-gun power supply
  • Fast rise-time pulsed cathode current (up to 500 Hz)
  • Remote programming and monitoring via Ethernet
  • Customizable for OEM and system integration

Typical Applications
  • Cargo screening
  • Cancer therapy (LINAC)
