The SCT 3D Wilmington (style) brace is a custom TLSO that is designed using CAD/CAM technology. This orthosis provides a 3D brace design that corrects the spine based on three body planes, the Sagittal, Coronal and Transverse (SCT) and provides a precise combination of lateral and rotational forces that move the spine into a corrected position. This orthosis provides passive correction of scoliosis curve with apices at or below T7. This brace design maintains corrective forces at the curve apices, the iliac crests, greater trochanters, and symphysis pubis. Using CAD/CAM technology allows for precise fabrication to maximize spinal correction that can be measured to the exact millimeter.
