Description

The SSCOR DCell Suction device is the world’s first and only full size portable suction device powered by off-the-shelf alkaline batteries. This makes it ideal for emergencies when external power sources are not available such as patient surge events and power outages. It is intended for storage for extended periods in disaster preparedness equipment caches where it does not need to be maintained on charge. The DCell can be adapted to any suction canister currently in use by your facility, so there is no need to stock proprietary canisters. Fresh D Cell alkaline batteries, can run the device for 6-9 hours* before the batteries need to be changed. Changing to fresh D Cell alkaline batteries takes about one minute and provides another 6 – 9 hours of run time. The DCell provides powerful medical vacuum that can be controlled for more delicate procedures such as tracheal suction in adults and neonates. FEATURES: Powered by off-the-shelf D Cell alkaline batteries 6 to 9 hour run time* after which a fresh set of batteries can be installed in minutes Variable regulator and gauge Battery condition indicator Does not need to be kept on charge Can also be powered by additional power supplies.
