The ED 200 S Series of drying cabinets with horizontal storage has been designed to protect reprocessed endoscopic instruments from the risk of contamination before reuse. It ensures adequate drying and storage of endoscopes by blowing filtered air through endoscope channels and on their external surfaces. Endoscopes are connected to the drying circuit through One-Time Connection System (OCS) technology, a single connection system shared among pre-washing, washing/disinfection, and drying/storage devices.
The ED 200 S Series is available with different storage configurations: with a single cabinet or a side-by-side double cabinet module, with single or double interlocked doors. The former version allows the drying and storage of up to 8 endoscopes, the latter of up to 16 endoscopes. Barcode/RFID systems and printer are available for logging scopes in and out to ensure full process tracking.
Microbiological Integrity
Microorganisms can grow to an unsafe amount within a few hours. Our range of drying cabinets protects reprocessed endoscopes from the risk of contamination by drying them thoroughly and by maintaining microbiological integrity up to 720 hours.
Independently validated.
RFID Hands-Free Process
Our endoscopy equipment grants higher levels of safety thanks to a “hands-free” process, with RFID technology installed in pre-wash units, AERs and drying cabinets. Operators and scopes’ traceable identification is made safe with the touchless use of bracelets or badges. No need to touch the device control panel anymore, thus reducing potential cross-contamination risks and enhancing nurses and patients’ safety.
