Solutions are controlled using SPS COMPLETE or SPS LITE software suite, providing full reporting, traceability and automated reordering capabilities. LID systems can be implemented as a standalone solution or as part of a larger SupplyPoint installation.
System operation is extremely quick and simple with the advantage of automatic capture of additional cost centre information such as job or cell which can be used for future cost analysis.
An authorised user logs into the system and selects the required item and quantity.
The system unlocks only the location containing the required items and guides the user directly to it using high brightness LED's.
The user opens the indicated location, obtains required items and pushes the lid down to close and lock.
Emergency access to items (eg. during power failures) can be achieved in seconds with our unique and innovative override mechanism which can selectively unlock the drawers and the LIDs inside ensuring that access to critical items is not inhibited while retaining the security on the rest of the items in the LID cabinet.
