Product Details
The Cushing Laminectomy Rongeur is used to extract and reshape bones and soft tissues, like intervertebral discs, in spine procedures. It is also often used for removing temporal squamous bone, sphenoid wing, and occipital bone. The instrument is shaped like a scissor, with two finger ring handles that are designed for comfort. The shaft is at a 90 degree angle with the handles to offer an optimal view of the working ends. The featured Cushing rongeur is 13 cm in size, and the blades are 10 mm long and 2 mm wide, with a straight cutting profile. Other rongeurs with upward and downward biting blades are also available to suit different surgical indications, that come with rongeurs ranging in length from 15 to 20 cm. Surtex Instruments manufacture Cushing Laminectomy Rongeurs from the finest materials that can be easily sterilized.
