Description

The S418-V Compact Flow Meter offers a simple but effective monitoring solution for vacuum applications at the point-of use. The Inline Type Flow Meter is designed to monitor the performance of vacuum pumps. In doing so, the actual flow and absolute pressure on the low-pressure side of vacuum pumps is measured. The use of thermal mass flow technology makes the flow meter also resistant with regards to temperature and pressure changes. Vacuum System Optimization and Reliability By monitoring the flow, consumption, pressure and temperature at the point of use, the flow meter helps to optimize vacuum system efficiency and discover optimization potentials. Equipped with an absolute pressure sensor, it does not only show the vacuum pressure, but also shows the actual vacuum flow. These parameters are crucial values in vacuum applications and help operators to ensure their process reliability. Flexible Installation The S418-V offers great flexibility at the point of use and can be installed anywhere. With the integrated display the vacuum sensor is available for different pipe sizes DN8, DN15, DN20, DN25 and DN32 (G female thread). Smartphone App for Configuration and Real-time Data The Flow Meter is easily configurable through the SUTO S4C-FS App. Real-time data can also be read on the smartphone through the app. This helps to get a fast overview over the actual data and situation. Application S418-V is used for performance monitoring of vacuum pumps. Equipped with an absolute pressure sensor, it does not only show the vacuum pressure, but also shows the actual vacuum flow.
