Description

Product Name
Dent Weld Touch

Short Description
Intraoral welder for welding prefabricated titanium bars to implant abutments directly in the oral cavity to create a rigid splint that stabilizes immediate-loading implants and reduces masticatory forces during healing and osseointegration.

Function and Use
CE-marked medical device for joining and stabilizing immediate-loading dental implants via intraoral welding. Using a handheld welding clamp with copper electrodes, a high-intensity electric discharge is applied across the contact point between titanium components for a few milliseconds, producing a solid weld without heating surrounding tissues. The device automatically disconnects the pliers from the mains during the discharge; copper electrodes dissipate heat due to their higher thermal conductivity compared with titanium. The rigid splint minimizes micromovements and mechanical stress on each implant during mastication, supporting early implant stability and osseointegration.

Clinical Benefits
  • Immediate stabilization of implants through rigid splinting
  • Reduction of mechanical stress and micromovements during mastication
  • Supports implant stability during early osseointegration
  • Minimal thermal impact on surrounding tissues due to short discharge time and copper electrode heat dissipation
