Description

Our autonomous hospital vehicles (AGV) designed for the hospital environment transport various types of containers (meals, linen, waste, medications, store flows) through corridors and elevators to deliver to user services with agile, infrastructure-free navigation. Manufactured and serviced in France (production center in Saint-Amant-Montrond), they are intended for intensive use and help refocus hospital staff on patient care.

Dedicated to:
  • Hospital management
  • Care units
  • Logistics departments
  • Technical services

Main advantages
  • French equipment: local design, manufacturing and maintenance (Saint-Amant-Montrond production center).
  • Elevator and goods lift compatibility: works with multiple generations of hospital lifts.
  • Safe cohabitation with staff: laser guidance, high visibility and positioning accuracy to reduce collision risk.
  • Infrastructure-free navigation: no floor markers or reflectors required; agile in confined spaces.
  • Easy configuration and supervision: intuitive route programming, custom configuration and centralized, virtualizable supervision.

Types of AGV available
  • Platform vehicle: for containers with a base.
  • Mast vehicle: improved visibility for safe interaction with clinical staff; equipped with a lifting platform to load and unload trolleys.
  • Fork vehicle: for containers without a base, compatible with standard trolleys (advanced pallet trucks).

Operation and supervision
  • Navigation based on high-definition rotating laser scanning (effective range up to ~40 m) — no extra floor infrastructure required.
  • Real-time communication with a central supervision system via wireless network for traffic control and mission management.
  • Supervision interface integrates with building systems (elevators, doors, fire protection, etc.).
  • Identification and traceability of trolleys via identifiers (RFID, barcodes, QR code): the AGV reads the identifier and the supervision manages destinations dynamically.
  • Battery level monitoring and automatic recharging at dedicated stations.
  • Adapted to hospital logistics constraints: handling meals, medications, sterilized equipment, linen and waste (including infectious items) in daily operation.

Characteristics / technical specifications
  • Designed, manufactured and tested in France (production center in Saint-Amant-Montrond).
  • Three product ranges to match container types: platform, mast, forks.
  • Infrastructure-free navigation — onboard laser guidance.
  • Laser scanning range: approximately 40 m (high-definition rotating scan).
  • Wireless communication and supervision; centralized supervision for scheduling and traceability.
  • Automatic charging on dedicated stations; autonomous battery management.
  • Daily operational capacity varies by site: typically between 300 and 2000 trolley moves per day depending on hospital size.
  • Compatible with elevators and goods lifts; requires dedicated spaces for trolley parking and handling at stations.
