Description

Synicem 1G cements are used for bone cementations and fixations. Use is advised in orthopaedics and other surgical specialities, when fixation of prosthetic elements with sterile setting material is sought. Synicem with Gentamicinee is recommended for high risk patients undergoing second surgeries; or for those patients infected with germs sensitive to Gentamicinee and patients with immunodeficiency. Synicem 1G are sterile radiopaque cements loaded with antibiotic. Each 20 g dose of powder contains 250 mg Gentamicine Base as Sulphate, each 40 g dose of powder contains 500 mg Gentamicinee Base as Sulphate. Presentation: Synicem 1G, for manual application is available in two sizes: • A pouch containing an envelope with 20 g of radiopaque powder with gentamicine sterilized by ethylene oxide, and an ampoule with 10 ml of liquid sterilized by ultrafiltration. • A pouch containing an envelope with 40 g of radiopaque powder with gentamicine sterilized by ethylene oxide, and an ampoule with 20 ml of liquid sterilized by ultrafiltration.
