TACTYS has been manufacturing capacitive keyboards in anti-static glass since 2004. Since 2011, we have developed an OEM activity, which consists of designing and manufacturing customized keyboards based on our customers' specifications. Given the size of our company, our main competitive advantage is flexibility: our engineers are fully conversant with capacitive technology, and we carry out all stages of manufacturing, so we are able to produce fully customized keyboards within short lead times and at very competitive prices. There are 3 levels of customization: 1 - Design modification, The circuit board of our standard keyboards is the same, only the glass design changes. Here are a few examples: - Glass printing - Glass size and thickness - Change of support - Polycarbonate cover 2 - Designing an original keyboard Variants may include : - Number of keys - Key layout - Creation of specific keys - Original functions Design process : - Drawing up customer specifications with the technical support of one of our engineers - Proposal of a specific electronic study to realize the project: price and deadline - Supply of prototypes for validation - Production start-up 3 - Capacitive Human Machine Interface (HMI) This refers to all forms of tactile support for specific commands: tactile on/off buttons, access control, machine control panel, etc. Output information is defined by the customer: USB, dry contact, RS232, etc.
