Description

N°ICE Electronic Ice Bucket is ideal for chilling or incubating any number or size of tubes for long periods of time. Instead of the normal situation in the laboratory with tubes floating in melting ice, the N°ICE ceramic-coated beads maintain the temperature and support the sample vessels for as long as necessary. The beads are chemically resistant and if required can be autoclaved at 134°C. As a time saving option, the bucket of beads can be incubated in the fridge overnight and simply inserted into the unit as and when required. The unit features our unique temperature control zone that ensures that all contents of the unit are kept at an even temperature, whether cold or warm. • Ideal for chilling reagents for the whole working laboratory day • Maximum temperature range 0°C to 40°C * • Temperature displayed in °C or °F • N°ICE bucket and 1.7Kg autoclaveable ceramic-coated beads are included • Spare aluminium bucket and spare 1.7Kg pack of ceramic-coated beads are available separately Technical Specification Parameter - N°ICE Temperature range - 0°C to 40°C * Temperature accuracy - ±1°C Temperature units - °C or °F Cooling technology - Peltier Temperature display resolution - 0.1°C Temperature display - Orange LED, 5 digits Bucket dimensions L x W x H (cm) - 15.5 x 10.5 x 7 (approx) Bucket capacity - 60x 1.5ml microtubes (approx) NoICE dimensions L x W x H (mm) - 190 x 240 x 225 Power supply - 100 to 230V, 5060Hz Shipping Weight - 4.5kg Ordering Information Product Code - Description complete with bucket and beads - NoICE spare bucket - NoICE replacement ceramic beads BACKGROUND INFORMATION Manufactured from high density 90% ceramic alumina and fired in high
