We propose a revolutionary new solution in the field of personal protection equipment against ionizing radiation: the X-Versus system The fabric designed according to an innovative conception, has made it possible to make garments disinfectable with industrial processes and sterilizable to steam with the cycles in autoclave commonly used for surgical tissues. We use radio attenuating metals: antimony and bismuth, embedded in a temo-hardened polyurethane resin. It is a product manufactured in Italy and is covered by an industrial patent. Technical characteristics of the product The originality of the fabric lies, first of all, in its structure: it is the result of the coupling of fabrics conforming to the UNI EN 13795 standard with a special radiopaque sheet, which results in a highly malleable multilayer fabric (traditional lead garments are very rigid), washable with industrial washing processes, sterilizable in steam autoclave and impermeable to liquids and microorganisms.
