The DTS System is a comprehensive solution designed by TRF to safely and efficiently manage liquid radioactive waste generated in the field of Nuclear Medicine. This system is particularly relevant in the treatment of patients with radioactive isotopes used in metabolic therapies and theranostics, such as I-131 or Lu-177. In addition, it offers solutions for shorter half-life isotopes, such as F-18 and Tc-99m, used in diagnostic Nuclear Medicine.
Features of the DTS System
The system is made of stainless steel:
- AISI 316 for parts in contact with liquids.
- AISI 304 for parts without direct contact with liquids.
Self-shielded tanks with lead.
Controller with a very intuitive touch screen.
Real-time filling level (L and %) and activity (MBq) measurements.
System connected to toilets (TRF Hot Toilet), which allows enabling or disabling their flushing.
Remote access that allows monitoring and management of the system at any time from any point in the facility.
Compact and very reliable system. Fully adaptable to the space available in your Service.
Purpose of the DTS System
Ensure safe handling and disposal of waste.
Benefits of the DTS System
Technology for reducing water consumption, since the volume of water in the toilet flush is adjustable and is disabled in case of incidents or maximum filling of the system.
IoT integration with devices such as:
- Radiation detectors to monitor the dose produced by the patient.
- Video surveillance cameras.
Option to integrate with a hospital's BMS.
Remote management of the system with high levels of security.
User access control.
