Designed to facilitate access for the novel ZeroATP® surgical technique, pioneered by renowned access surgeon Thomas Terramani, M.D., F.A.C.S., the ZeroATP product suite enables an anterior to the psoas surgical approach catering to the anatomical familiarity of a supine position for access and spine surgeons alike. Utilizing existing TSI technologies, the ZeroATP solution complements the Phantom AL™ Anterior Lumbar Surgical Access System, for a seamless upgrade to an all‐in‐one access solution for traditional ALIF and ZeroATP procedures. An Innovative Approach | Phantom UL ZeroATP Access System The Phantom UL™ ZeroATP Surgical Access system leverages anatomical gravity to facilitate access to the targeted disc space from a supine patient positioning. Keeping surgical access simplicity top of mind, ZeroATP reimagines lumbar access with ground breaking single system access from L2 to L5. Anatomical Familiarity ZeroATP leverages partial lateral decubitus positing (patient tilted 25 degrees with the left side up), allowing the peritoneal sac to fall for easier retraction. Following the completion of the access, the patient is then repositioned to a supine position (zero degrees) for disc prep, providing the necessary stability needed for successful and reproducible removal of the affected disc. Catered Retraction The ZeroATP blade selection has been carefully designed to cater to the anatomical structures encountered during ZeroATP surgical access. The ZeroATP solution is equipped with 3 different blade styles featuring a working utility channel for shim deployment, as well as an integrated cold LED illumination platform.
