Product Overview
Conduct high-speed centrifugation of aggressive chemicals using Nalgene™ Oak Ridge tubes with FEP (Teflon™) bodies and ETFE (Tefzel™) screw closures. Designed for chloroform and phenol extractions in refrigerated rotors and, when used with the optional sealing cap assembly, capable of operation up to 50,000 x g.

Features:

• Temperature range: -100° to +150°C (-148° to +302°F)
• Leakproof† screw closures prevent material loss under ordinary use for most spins <10,000 × g
• 30 mL and 50 mL tubes can be spun up to 50,000 x g when equipped with a Nalgene sealing cap assembly (sold separately)
• Fill tubes to at least 100% total capacity for proper performance
• Autoclavable and suitable for biohazard containment when used with supplied Nalgene closure / PTFE FEP

Ordering Information:
Optional sealing cap assemblies: DS3131-0020 (30 mL) and DS3131-0024 (50 mL). Catalog No. 3114-0050 has a brim capacity of 42 mL but is designed to fit the standard rotor.
