Detailed description
Biflex Self Adjust Calf is designed to offer adjustable compression for the management of venous and lymphatic oedema, chronic venous insufficiency, and supportive care in lipoedema. It features a patented system allowing precise calibration of pressure to ensure effective treatment. The overlapping bandages with reversed closures prevent oedema migration and ensure complete limb coverage. The breathable, open-cell foam enhances comfort. The inner loop makes it easy to don and doff. The device is latex-free, available in beige, machine washable, and designed for daily use over six months.

Indications

• Management of edema (venous, lymphatic and caused by injury)
• Chronic venous insufficiency
• Symptomatic treatment of lipedema

Contraindications

• Major dermatological conditions on the affected limb
• Known allergy to any of the components
• Lower limb peripheral arterial disease (ABI < 0.6)
• Decompensated heart failure
• Advanced diabetic microangiopathy for high compression (> 30 mmHg)
• Severe peripheral neuropathy of the affected limb
• Phlegmasia cerulea dolens of an affected limb
• Extraanatomical bypass of the affected limb
• Septic thrombosis
• Do not use on upper limbs in cases of brachial plexus condition or vasculitis of the extremities
