OverviewMobiderm® Mobilizing Pads are medical pads designed to assist management of acute and chronic edema, including lymphedema, by mobilizing subcutaneous tissues beneath compression. Placed directly on edematous or indurated areas under a multi-component compression bandage, they improve local fluid redistribution and the efficiency of compression therapy.
How it worksMobiderm® Technology creates a pressure differential between raised blocks and surrounding textile that generates multi-directional micro-channels in the lymphatic layer under the skin. This encourages lymphatic fluid to move from compressed zones toward adjacent free areas, promoting effective drainage and circulation under compression.
VersionsAvailable in two block configurations: large blocks (polyurethane foam) and small blocks (polyethylene foam), with several heights and widths to adapt to different limb anatomies and edema locations. Sizes are suitable for both upper and lower limb applications and for pediatric and adult patients.
