Description

SomnoGuard® SPX is a two-piece, prefabricated mandibular advancement device for the treatment of snoring and mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), which is associated with breathing stops at night. It is our latest development in the field of prefabricated SomnoGuard® oral appliances and impresses above all with its delicate design. Two connectors of the same length connect the upper and lower jaw trays to each other laterally. Thermoplastic material with memory effect (fitting repeatable) High wearing comfort thanks to the delicate design Adjustable tray width allows adjustment to any jaw size Comfortable fitting with practical tray holder Millimeter-precise adjustment of the mandibular advancement; choice between 2 connector variants (with and without screw) Mouth breathing and slight mouth opening possible Also suitable for patients with a receding lower jaw Made in Germany How does SomnoGuard® SPX work? SomnoGuard® SPX is worn in the mouth at night. With the help of two side connectors, the two-piece oral appliance holds the lower jaw with the tongue slightly forward, thus opening the upper airways. As a result, the vibration and fluttering of the soft tissue (soft palate & uvula) and the typical snoring noise can be reduced or prevented.
