Animals are detected in 3 points (head/center/tail base tracking) by a contrast filter (up to 2 animals per arena), or – in the color tracking system – by tracking color tags on the animals’ back (up to 8 animals per arena). Several arenas can be observed with one camera at a time. An unlimited number of zones of interest can be generated per arena to perform spatial analyses. Zones of interest can also be used to control data acquisition.
