Description

-Manufacturing in compliance with 93/42/EC directive, -Due to the design, this biodegradeable screw maintains fixation, even after the surgery. And maintains compression during the bone healing process. Indications This biodegradeable cannulated screw is for fixation of upper extremity fractures, bone fractures, osteotomies, arthrodeses, bone grafts, andankle and foot in the presence of appropriate immobilization. Such as: Lower extremities -Ankle fractures -Talar fractures -Calcaneal fractures -Hallux valgus surgery (Proximal osteotomy or TMT-I arthrodesis) -Talocrural arthrodeses -Subtalar arthrodeses Upper extremities -Distal clavicular fracture -Glenoid rim fractures -Proximal humeral neck fractures -Epiphyseolytic fractures in upper limb in children -Lateral humeral condyle fractures -Medial humeral condyle or epicondyle fractures -Olecranon fractrures -Distal radial fractures -Hand fractures -Scaphoideus Material -Bio-absorbable, the screws are made from a biocompatible amorphous copolymer, -Excellent biocompatibility of PLDLA and its breakdown products (CO2 and H2O). It stabilizes 8-10 months after surgery and provides good healing and simplifies future revisions. It is then slowly hydrolyzed with water from the tissues and after 24 months, completely healthy bone forms. Femoral: Poly (%70 L/% 30 DL-lactide)
