uniCAT – Functional and Safe for Hospitals and Clinics
Discover the new generation of carbon dioxide therapy with the specially developed CAT® treatment system. The purified CO₂ is delivered into a biocompatible treatment chamber without any additives and exerts a regulatory effect that has been known for centuries. The treatment duration varies between 20 and 35 minutes, depending on the indication. Compared to traditional carbon dioxide baths, CO₂ dry bath treatments are easier to administer, both in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Targeted carbon dioxide stimulation triggers therapeutic responses that are often immediately noticeable and pleasant. In physical medicine, the unique effect of carbon dioxide stimulation is utilized in both acute and preventive treatments. Substance exchange in the tissue is improved, which enhances blood supply and supports natural regeneration. This physiological process is scientifically validated and known as the Bohr-Haldane effect.
Modern uniCAT treatments effectively support the course of therapy, particularly in cases of chronic systemic changes. The CO₂ stimulus alters blood supply in the surrounding tissue, enabling predictable treatment success. The Bohr effect increases the supply of oxygen to the skin, muscles, and organs. The dry bath treatment promotes microcirculation, which leads to improved wound healing and reduced tissue stress, as metabolic waste products can be removed more easily.
