Product summary
The GenuShield 422SH is a knee support designed to stabilize the patella and provide targeted support during daily activities and sports. Made from a 3D airy knit with a finer breathable back panel, it combines comfort, fit and controlled compression. The built-in gel patella ring centers and cushions the kneecap while flexible side stabilizers add lateral support without restricting natural movement.

Design and construction
Constructed in 3D airy knit for progressive compression and breathability. The posterior panel uses a finer knit to improve comfort during prolonged use. Flexible stabilizers on both sides provide dynamic lateral support. The integrated gel ring surrounds the patella to improve centration and reduce focal stress.

Physiological action
Reduction of swelling – Circumferential support combined with the gel ring creates controlled pressure to help limit edema and local pain.
Improved neuromuscular function – Compression and side stabilizers increase proprioceptive input to periarticular muscles, enhancing coordination, motor control and joint stability during stance and movement.

Rehabilitation and use in physical activity
Use of the GenuShield 422SH can facilitate progressive return to activity by enabling controlled loading, pain reduction and improved functional stability. Suitable for walking, running, gym training, CrossFit, ball sports and similar activities. Rehabilitation programmes should follow the treating clinician's guidance.

User manual & care

• Hold the pull tabs with the URIEL logo facing up and slide the support around the leg until the gel ring is positioned around the patella.
• Recommend use during painful activities or as advised by a clinician.
• If tingling, numbness or discomfort occurs, remove the device and consult a healthcare professional.
• Wash periodically on a delicate cycle up to 30° C.

Sizing & measurement
Measure circumference with a soft tape while the leg is slightly bent. Upper measurement: thigh circumference ≈ 15 cm above the center of the knee. Lower measurement: calf circumference ≈ 13 cm below the center of the knee. Refer to the size chart to select the correct size (available sizes 1–6).
