Description

Description The unit includes automated disinfection units for external and endocavitary ultrasound probes.Atrue alternative to chemical soaking, these automated units provide simple, rapid, reliable and ecological disinfection of the probe between each patient. Features Ultra-Fast: An ILD (intermediate level disinfection) is performed in 90 sec and an HLD (high level disinfection) in 200 sec, after which the probe is ready to be used again. The disinfection process immobilises the probe for less than 2 minutes, which is the time necessary to change the drapes and take the patient back to the changing cabin. Reliability: The automated unit guarantees the efficacy of the disinfection: each disinfection is automatically validated by an accurate measurement of the dose received by the probe. At the end of the cycle, the system signals the status of the disinfection on the control panel and on the various traceability reports. Simplicity: No specific configuration is required (a simple connection to the power supply is enough). The system is easy to use: the disinfection process is performed in one click, without having to disconnect the ultrasound probe. Traceability: The system provides proof of disinfection with all associated data to guarantee full traceability (medico-legal proof). Safety: UVC treatment is non toxic for the practitioner or the patient and non-corrosive for the ultrasound probes. Environment: UVC treatment preserves the environment: zero residue, zero emission, zero waste.
