VITA VIONIC® BOND is an MMA‑based, self‑curing two‑component dental bonding system for permanent fixation of denture teeth into denture bases. The low‑viscosity formulation allows precise application to the adhesive surfaces and forms a reactive boundary layer to ensure a secure bond between tooth and base material.

Indications
For definitive bonding of denture teeth from the VITA VIONIC product series into compatible acrylic‑based denture base materials (PMMA and acrylate‑based composites). Typical uses include fixation of prefabricated or milled denture teeth into corresponding prosthetic base cavities.

• VITA VIONIC BOND KIT: 1 x 2 ml VITA VIONIC BOND I; 1 x 1 ml VITA VIONIC BOND II; 3 x microbrush. Sufficient for bonding approx. 28 denture teeth.
• VITA VIONIC BOND multiDose KIT: 1 x 20 ml VIONIC BOND I multiDose; 1 x 10 ml VIONIC BOND II multiDose; 50 disposable brush tips. Sufficient for approx. 25 x 14 denture teeth.
• VITA VIONIC BOND multiDose COMPLETE: multiDose KIT + 3 ml measuring cup + 50 disposable brush tips. For multi‑arch dosing and mixing.
• Measuring cup: 3 ml cup for dosing and mixing.

How it cures / Working time
Self‑curing (chemical cure) begins when components I and II are mixed. At approximately 21 °C the working time is approx. 10 minutes; stop use if the adhesive begins to gel or form threads.

Dosing (multiDose) — examples

• 1 arch (14 teeth): total ≈ 1.0 ml (recommended minimum) — VIONIC BOND I multiDose = 2 marks on measuring cup; VIONIC BOND II multiDose = 1 mark.
• 2 arches (28 teeth): total ≈ 2.0 ml — VIONIC BOND I multiDose = 4 marks; VIONIC BOND II multiDose = 2 marks.

Storage and shelf life
Store tightly closed under refrigeration at 5 °C to 10 °C. Protect from direct sunlight. If stored correctly, VIONIC BOND multiDose should be used within 90 days after opening.

Chemical composition (typical)

• VIONIC BOND I / I multiDose: methyl methacrylate 70–80 wt%; acrylic polymer (MMA‑based) 15–25 wt%; triethylene glycol dimethacrylate <4 wt%; dibenzoyl peroxide <2 wt%.
• VIONIC BOND II / II multiDose: methyl methacrylate >95 wt%; N,N‑dimethyl‑p‑toluidine <5 wt%.

Compatibility
Intended for bonding acrylic/PMMA and acrylate‑based composite denture base materials. Validated with VITA VIONIC prefabricated teeth, VIONIC DENT DISC multiColor and VIONIC BASE DISC HI; additional validation performed on various 3D‑printed base materials. Refer to technical documentation for material‑specific recommendations.

Instructions / Processing notes

• Components to be bonded must fit precisely; VIONIC BOND is not gap‑filling — design a small bonding gap in CAD as recommended for the tooth/base combination.
• Bonding surfaces must be dry and free of dust, grease, wax, cooling lubricants and contaminants.
• Follow dosing and mixing recommendations; ensure correct proportion between component I and II.
