This lens is designed for direct image vitreoretinal procedures performed during air–fluid exchange. Its prism-based optical design provides clear off-axis retinal views, enabling visualization of peripheral fundus areas while maintaining accurate central imaging. Three field-of-view options allow selection according to surgical target and approach. The lens is compatible with steam (autoclave) sterilization to support clinical reprocessing protocols.
