Description
Wrist brace made of Silprene-F™ multilayer silicone, breathable and elastic, allowing adjustable compression and traction on the thumb according to patient needs. Supplied with an elastic strap that stabilizes and abducts the thumb metacarpophalangeal joint.

Indications

• Sprains and strains of the thumb or wrist, tenosynovitis, tendinitis, mild arthritis.
• Protection against potential recurrent injuries.

• Partially limits thumb movement, relieving overuse, joint and tendon inflammation.
• Removable: thumb strap can be detached; patient may discontinue its use as symptoms improve.
• Soft silicone pad that gently compresses joints and tendons.

Composition

• Fabric: 59% Nylon, 9% Spandex, 32% Polyester.
• Gel: 100% Silicone.

Washing and drying

• Before washing, fasten the Velcro straps together.
• Hand wash with warm water and neutral soap. Do not machine wash or dry clean.
• Use a towel to absorb excess moisture and air dry at room temperature. Do not tumble dry.
• Do not expose to direct sunlight or heat sources (stoves, radiators, etc.).
• Do not use alcohols, ointments, bleach, solvents or abrasive products during use or cleaning.
• If the orthosis is not well rinsed, detergent residues may irritate the skin and damage the product.

Precautions

• Use of orthoses must follow prescriber's recommendations and not be used for purposes other than prescribed.
• If you have diabetes or circulation problems, consult your physician before use.
• If you experience itching, pain or discomfort, discontinue use and consult your physician or physiotherapist.
• When not in use, keep the product in its original packaging.
