The WAS 500 emergency ambulance, built on a Mercedes‑Benz Sprinter 519 CDI box body (5 T), is engineered for efficient patient care, ergonomic workflow for emergency teams and high operational safety. The patient compartment provides a hygienic working environment with space for safe, ergonomic treatments. Integrated systems such as WAS Smart Control, oxygen monitoring and a 360° AI camera increase situational awareness and operational efficiency.

Design and usability highlights
Rounded-edge furniture, illuminated grab handles and strategically placed lighting support crew tasks. The vehicle features an electric locking system, robust repair-friendly box body, WAS Lift Assist for ergonomic loading of a carrying chair and a high-visibility integrated WAS warning system for increased road safety.
