Description

The Mercedes-Benz Vito is a popular and proven base vehicle that also impresses as an electric drive model. With the WAS 100-E first response vehicle, WAS is once again demonstrating its expertise in vehicle concepts with electric drive technology for emergency medical services. Carbon neutrality, flexibility and excellent driving characteristics are just three of the factors that speak in favour of e-mobility in the emergency services. In addition to its ecological and economic advantages, the WAS 100-E first response vehicle concept also impresses with its inner values. During the development, the focus was placed on the safety of the crew, without losing the weight reserve for the payload. In combination with the optimal use of space provided by the WAS cabinet system, all equipment can be stored in an easily accessible manner. And because every field of application brings its own challenges, various cabinet modules are available for customising the vehicle concept. The built-in medical technology is supplied with power through plug connections integrated into the cabinet system – the power supply for the medical equipment is fully guaranteed independently of the drive system with electric motor. The high-performance 150 kW drive with a torque of 365 Nm enables a top speed of 160 km/h, and impresses with its incredible acceleration. The range increases, of course, depending on whether you have the option of intermediate charging at hospitals and ambulance stations. This means that nothing will stand in your way when it comes to using the vehicle all day.
