Description

Overview The WAS 500 box ambulance is engineered for medical transport and emergency care in remote and difficult off‑road environments. Designed for disaster and mass‑casualty response, it accommodates up to two recumbent patients or one recumbent plus one seated patient and features ergonomic storage and handling solutions for stretchers, oxygen cylinders and rescue tools.

Key operational capabilities All‑wheel drive with differential locks, robust suspension and high ground clearance enable reliable traction and obstacle negotiation on mud, snow and rough terrain. Wading depth is 600 mm. Off‑road capability meets category 2 (DIN 1864‑2). Mechanical‑pneumatic lifting supports provide ergonomic loading/unloading of stretchers and oxygen cylinders; parallel loading of both stretchers is possible.
